FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is it safe to exercise during pregnancy? 

A: Yes! In fact, staying active and exercising during pregnancy is highly recommended, as long as you have received clearance to exercise from your midwife and you don't over do it. Know your limits!


What is involved in the classes?

A: Classes are a combination of gentle aerobic exercise, stretches and pelvic floor exercises, ending in a chance to completely relax.


How long are classes? 

A: Classes are 45 minutes long.


Will I get my hair wet?

 A: Possibly but mainly no! It is recommended to wear a hat home in the cooler months, just in case.

 

At what stage in pregnancy are classes suitable for? 

A: Classes are suitable from 12 weeks pregnant, right up to (and passed!) your due date.


I'm not a confident swimmer, will this class be suitable for me? 

A: All non-swimmers/non-confident swimmers are welcome, however you will have to have some element of confidence to stand and exercise within the water. Any classes involving swimming, you will be supported by a pool noodle.


How much are classes?

 A: Classes are currently bookable in 5 weekly blocks at £12 a class (subject to change).


Is there parking available?

 A: Parking spaces are available at all locations.


Can my partner join/watch?

 A: Unfortunately no - classes are delivered within a private environment for mums-to-be only, in order for all participants to completely relax and have a good chat.

A: Yes, at times there is a waiting list to join classes, which is why it is best to contact early so you don't miss out!
