Terms & Conditions

1: Introduction

Welcome to Lotus Aqua Aquanatal classes. By booking or attending sessions, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before participating.

2: Eligibility

  • Aquanatal classes are designed for individuals who are pregnant and have reached at least 12 weeks gestation.

  • You must have received clearance from your healthcare provider (e.g., midwife or doctor) before participating.

  • A completed & signed Client Information & Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire

  • (PAR-Q) must be submitted at least 24 hours prior to your first session.

3: Safety & Responsibility

  • Participants must regain clearance to exercise from their healthcare provider for all changes to their health or pregnancy status and inform the instructor before each class.

  • You are responsible for ensuring you are physically fit and able to take part in the classes.

  • The Instructor is qualified in prenatal fitness, swimming tuition and water safety, and every effort is made to ensure your safety during sessions. However, participation is at your own risk.

  • You must follow all instructions provided during class to ensure your safety and the safety of others.

4: Health & Hygiene

  • Health and Hygiene

  • Drink plenty of water before and after class.

  • Please refrain from attending class if you have a fever, infection, or any contagious illness.

  • Please refrain from attending if you are experiencing uterine contractions and/or your waters have broken.

  • Appropriate swimwear must be worn, and personal hygiene must be maintained.

  • Shower before entering the pool, and remove any body lotions or oils.

  • No footwear is to be worn in the ‘wet’ areas of the building, including changing rooms.

5: Booking & Payment

  • Classes must be booked in advance and full payment is required to secure your place.

  • Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

6: Cancellation & Refunds

  • Client Cancellations:
    Cancellations must be made at least 36 hours before the first class to be eligible for a
    refund. A £12.50 administration fee will be retained.
    No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations made with less than 24 hours’notice to the first class.

  • Instructor Cancellations:
    In the event of a class being cancelled by Lotus Aqua, an alternative session will be
    offered or a credit/refund issued.

7:  Pool Rules

  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for your class and leave no more than 15 minutes after class ends.

  • No running, diving, or disruptive behaviour in or around the pool.

  • Spectators are not permitted unless prior arrangement is made.

  • Enter the pool via the pool ladder with your back to the pool.

  • Follow the instructor’s directions at all times.

8:  Liability

  • While all efforts are made to ensure a safe environment, Lotus Aqua is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during or after classes unless proven to be a result of our negligence.

  • We are not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings on the premises.

8:  Data Protection

  • Your personal data will be handled in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

  • We only collect necessary information to ensure your safety and will never share your
    information without your consent, except where required by law.

10:  Change of Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued attendance at classes will be deemed acceptance of any revised terms.
